CIBAS 2016 postponed

The 2016 edition of the China International Business Aviation has postponed, until June 2017.

The show was due to be held at Beijing’s Capital Airport between August 30 and September 1.

A statement on the organizers website says that the Chinese government has forbidden any exhibitions at the airport and its surrounding area around the time it was due to be held due to an upcoming G20 meeting.

“According to the urgent notice from the relevant government department, the Capital Airport and some regions are are forbidden to organize any exhibition activities from August 20 to September 10 so as to ensure the safe reception of high-ranking foreign government officials who will participate in 2016 G20 summit.” says the statement.

The show has been rescheduled to June 27-29 2017.
