China drops fees for registering B- aircraft
Aircraft owners will no longer have to pay a fee to register their aircraft on the mainland China B- register.
The abolition of the registration fee is part of a larger Chinese government plan to stop charging fees across several industries.
The Ministry of Finance has changed the rules in an attempt reduce the workload of companies looking to register their aircraft, as well as promoting economic development.
Earlier in the year the CAAC dropped a rule stating that Chinese buyers needed to gain government approval before buying and registering business jets on the local B- registry.
