A simulator for the Global 5000 and Global 6000, built by CAE and equiped with Vision flight deck, is now available at Bombardier’s training centre in Dallas, Texas.

Bombardier announced that it has expanded the training capabilities for business aircraft customers with the addition of a Level D full flight simulator (FFS) for Global 5000 and Global 6000 aircraft equipped with the Bombardier Vision flight deck.

The newly added, CAE-built FFS is located at Bombardier’s training centre in Dallas, Texas and was installed in March 2013. The new simulator will be ready for training in June 2013.

“Bombardier continuously evaluates its worldwide training footprint to maximize availability and convenience for its business aircraft customers,” said Leon Botteron, general manager, Aircraft Training, Bombardier Aerospace. “We continue to leverage the latest technology and our instructors’ real-word experience to provide quality, OEM-designed training in both Montreal, Canada and Dallas, Texas.”
