BizJet International names Thomas Kuhn as new CEO

Lufthansa Technik’s US-subsidiary BizJet International has named Thomas Kuhn as its new president and CEO.

Kuhn will take up his new role once current president and CEO Manfred Gaertner leaves the company at the end of July.

Having started his career with Lufthansa Technik in 1999 as an aircraft engineer, Kuhn became Sub-Division Manager Overhaul at Ameco Beijing, the Lufthansa Joint Venture with Air China in 2008.

Prior to becoming president and CEO of BizJet International Kuhn was the Director Engineering Services in Lufthansa Technik’s VIP & Executive Jet Maintenance Business Unit in Hamburg, Germany.
