Avfuel and Neste collaborate at SDC, a first for the companies
Avfuel Corporation and Neste have collaborated for the first time to exhibit at the NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference (SDC) 2022 in San Diego.
Attendees can meet with Neste representatives in booth number 1945 and Avfuel will also have experts on hand discussing topics including sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), book and claim, and carbon offsetting.
Marci Ammerman, Avfuel’s vice president of marketing, said, “Our goal of any convention is to connect attendees with the solutions they need for safe, efficient operations. Sustainable solutions have increasingly become important to our clientele and we are thrilled to be able to directly connect them to Neste to learn more about the efficacy of SAF.”
Avfuel and Neste announced a strategic partnership in January last year. This sees Neste provides Avfuel with SAF, which then is used by fixed base operators (FBOs), airports, flight departments, OEMs and commercial operators. Avfuel is a branded distributor for Neste.
The partnership positioned Avfuel as one of the first US-based companies with a continuous supply. The supplier now has a consistent supply of Neste’s SAF at nine FBOs with others in the pipeline.
