AMAC Aerospace gains Brazilian certificate for maintenance

Swiss-based AMAC Aerospace has announced that it has been granted the Brazilian Certificate and Operations Specification for Aircraft Maintenance by the Civil Aviation Agency of Brazil (ANAC).

Swiss-based AMAC Aerospace has announced that it has been granted the Brazilian Certificate and Operations Specification for Aircraft Maintenance by the Civil Aviation Agency of Brazil (ANAC).

The approval, which was awarded in February allows AMAC to carry out base and line maintenance work on all Brazilian-registered Boeing B737-600/700/800/900 aircraft types at its headquarters at EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg.

In addition, the approval enables AMAC to undertake on-wing engine maintenance, engine removal and installation, replacement of engine components and accessories in accordance with the capability list approved by ANAC as well as undertake ‘Specialist Services’ in Level 3 Non-Destructive Inspections.
