Air Charter Service (ACS) now has 40 offices worldwide with the opening of a new operation in Barcelona.

The office in the Catalonian capital closely follows new operations set up last month in Perth, Australia and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Justin Bowman, Group CEO, said: “The opening of our 40th office is an amazing achievement. We have had a presence in Spain since 2008, and our Madrid office is one of our most successful in our network. From there we have been serving a huge number of customers in Catalonia, so it was only a matter of time before we felt we needed a second operation in the country.”

The office will be headed up by the experienced Daniel Martin Rodriguez, who joined ACS’ Madrid office nine years ago.

“It is an amazing achievement to reach such a landmark number of offices, especially considering at the start of 2020, we had just 24 locations,” Bowman continued. “We have really been able to step up our expansion plans in recent years, as we were fortunate to benefit from several windfall years since Covid and so have had the opportunity to accelerate our strategy.”

ACS has posted a a six-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 11% in revenue since 2020.

“We have always felt that a local presence is of paramount importance, as each regional office allows our clients to deal with a local company, in their own language and their own currency, meaning a better service all-round for them,” said Bowman.

Looking to the future, ACS has plans for more offices next year, including some in countries where it doesn’t currently have a presence.
