Affinity Aviation opens Farnborough office

Affinity Aviation Group is opening a new office inside Hangar One at Farnborough Airport as it marks 10 years of operations.
Founded in 2015 by Andrew Hoy (pictured below), former head of sales at ExecuJet, Affinity Aviation debuted at EBACE in May 2015. Since starting out with a focus on aircraft sales, the company has expanded into advisory services, pre-buy inspections and charter.
“I’m incredibly fortunate to work with a passionate, dedicated team and group of industry colleagues backed by supportive financiers, lawyers, and advisors, all over the world,” said Hoy. “Climbing the steps and turning left on a business jet gives me a unique industry perspective when advising clients. It’s more than just the aircraft; it’s in-depth knowledge of the entire ownership and real operational experience.”
Highlights of the past decade:
- Sixty-three aircraft (business jets, turboprops and helicopters) acquired and delivered.
- Oversaw five brand-new entry into service deliveries, flying from Montreal, Canada and for Gulfstream clients from Savannah, Georgia.
- Launched a fixed-fee VIP charter membership in 2022, now with 28 members.
- Completed 17 inspections and managed three aircraft refurbishment projects.
- Grew its team in London and opened a dedicated facility at London’s Farnborough Airport in May 2025.
- Hoy also recently commanded a Bombardier Global 7500 non-stop from Taipei to London in 16 hours 26 minutes, cruising at Mach 0.83 and reaching 49,000ft altitude.
Hoy is also an advocate for the British Business General Aviation Association (BBGA’s) push to elevate the G-Registry. “The G-Registry is a gold standard, respected globally, but it’s under-utilised post-Brexit. With the UK’s world-class expertise and MRO facilities, we need to streamline regulatory processes and bring more aircraft back under the G-tail,” he explained.
