Aerocardal is to join Embraer's MRO network.

Embraer has confirmed that Aerocardal is joining its Authorised Service Center Network, dedicated to executive jets in Chile. The Chilean company is based at the Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport in Santiago and has been in the executive aviation market since 1991. Aerocardal will provide line maintenance services for the Phenom 300 business jet, including unscheduled maintenance, AOG support, and drop-ins to local and external customers operating in Chile.

The announcement was made during the LABACE show in São Paulo in Brazil.

Frank Stephens, vice president, MRO Services, Embraer Services & Support said: “Embraer continues to quickly accelerate the strategic positioning of its Authorised Service Center network, and we are pleased to now partner with Aerocardal in Chile. They are based in a strategic hub and have provided excellent service to their customers over the last decades. We hope to have a successful partnership with Aerocardal and keep expanding Embraer’s capacity, capability, and MRO footprint in Latin America and worldwide.”

Embraer operates nine owned service centres for executive aviation. It recently doubled its MRO-dedicated capacity in the US with new maintenance facilities for business jets in Dallas Love Field, Texas, Cleveland, Ohio and Sanford, Florida.

Meanwhile, earlier this month the business manufacturer revealed it is set to offer Starlink as an aftermarket solution for Praetor 600, Praetor 500, Legacy 500 and Legacy 450 owners through a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC).
