ACI Jet becomes authorised Rockwell Collins dealer

ACI Jet has become an authorised dealer for Rockwell Collins.

The Californian corporate aircraft management, charter, maintenance and ground handling services provider made the announcement at NBAA-BACE on Tuesday. It is now able to distribute, install and maintain Rockwell Collins’ equipment.

As part of the authorised dealer agreement, ACI Jet is able to sell and install NextGen avionics and communications equipment, cabin entertainment and management systems, warranty services, and flight support systems.

“We are proud to offer this new benefit to our management and maintenance customers, and look forward to further expanding upon the robust suite of maintenance and avionics services that we provide,” said Dave Jenson, ACI Jet’s vice president of aircraft maintenance.

“A key component of our sales and service strategy is offering efficiencies to our MRO clients. With Rockwell Collins authorisation, we can further streamline major maintenance event schedules to minimise downtime – all while providing significant savings and more options to our customers.”

ACI Jet is due to expand its San Luis Obispo Airport hangar footprint by another 25,000 feet of hangar space and 36,000 feet of office space next year, to accommodate a new, dedicated avionics maintenance and repair centre.
