VistaJet, the world’s second largest fractional jet company, appoints Robert Hersov, formerly of NetJets Europe, as chairman of the VistaJet advisory board.

Robert Robert HersovHersov, the founder of Marquis Jets Europe and a former vice-president of NetJets Europe, is joining rival VistaJet as chairman of its advisory board.

Hersov sold Marquis Jets Europe to NetJets in 2008.

“I am very excited to be joining VistaJet. In a very short time VistaJet has redefined the luxury private aviation market,” says Hersov. ” I am also looking forward to working with Thomas and his team and playing a significant part in the future development and success of what I see is the only true luxury brand in private aviation today.”

VistaJet says the advisory board will work directly with Thomas Flohr, founder and chairman of the company, to help develop strategies in both existing and new markets.

“I am delighted that Rob is joining us at VistaJet,” says Flohr.  “His immense knowledge of our industry, combined with his extensive personal and business connections, make him the ideal person to lead and drive the formation of our advisory board.”
