Comlux has taken delivery of the first ever Airbus ACJ TwoTwenty from Airbus’ facilities in Mirabel, Canada. The all-new business jet landed yesterday at Comlux’ s Indianapolis base for cabin completion.

Since its successful purchase last month at the Dubai Air Show 2021, the first ACJ TwoTwenty is now owned by FIVE, a Dubai-based investment group.

Daron Dryer, CEO Comlux Completion said: “I am delighted to welcome home the first ever ACJ TwoTwenty. Our Design & Engineering teams have been working on the program jointly with the ACJ team for more than 2 years and now, she is here! Thanks to the new Virtual Reality tool we have especially developed for this program, the completion process will be the most efficient, stringent and reliable we have ever achieved, allowing us to guarantee an Entry into Service at the beginning of 2023. We could not dream of a better start in the new year !”

According to Comlux, ACJ TwoTwenty completion process incorporates the latest in 3D modelling technology. The firm’s engineers have integrated it into a virtual reality system allowing TwoTwenty customers to see the future cabin environment.
