Rockwell Collins to launch new helicopter technology in Paris

Rockwell Collins announced plans to unveil a new helicopter situational awareness product line at the Paris Air Show.

Details about the new offering will be announced on 17 June 2013, and technology demonstrations will be featured in the “Helicopter Situational Awareness” portion of the Rockwell Collins exhibit.

The company will also highlight in the “Network Communication” portion of the Rockwell Collins exhibit the TacNet Tactical Radio (TTR), the world’s smallest fully operational Link 16 terminal.

With certification anticipated this fall, Rockwell Collins is offering the system to customers around the globe.

The exhibit will also feature Rockwell Collins Pro Line Fusion integrated avionics, which entered into service this past year.

The Paris Air Show is being held between June 17 to June 23 at Paris Le Bourget.
