New computer system and new designated inspectors introduced

The Registry of Aruba and the DCA of Aruba have announced new innovations. A new system, designated inspectors (DI) has been introduced by the DCA of Aruba to include an extensive network of inspectors located in the Americas, Europe, CIS, Asia and Australia. The DI system is expected to be fully operational by July 2012.

In addition, a presidential B777-200 aircraft with operated by the Aruban company Elite Eings AVV, will enter service in the summer of 2012. This aircraft is one of only four Boeing B777 aircraft worldwide operating as a VVIP aircraft.

The Registry of Aruba-IASO has recently equipped the DCA of Aruba with a brand new computer system. It has been granted under license to the DCA for its Aircraft Registration Management System (A.R.M.S.). With this upgrade, Aruba has the first and only fully integrated regulatory management system available, which is was developed in-house by IASO management and its IT department. It incorporates the issuance of e-documents with fully integrated security, accountability and traceable features in order to ensure the authenticity of documents carried onboard Aruban registered aircraft to be easily verified by SAFA or any other authorities with an easy-to-use smartphone application, known as QR Reader.

The Registry of Aruba will be visiting EBACE at Geneva.
