Embraer Lineage receives Russian Certificate

Lineage 1000 receives its type cerificate from the Russian Interstate Aviatiion Committee.

Embraer Executive Jets’ ultra-large Lineage 1000 business aircraft has received its type certificate from the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC), also known by its Russian acronym MAK. Certification paves the way for Russian customers to register and operate the type in Russia.

“This is exceptionally exciting news that the Lineage 1000 has received validation from the Russian authorities, a strong endorsement of our product,” said Colin Steven, vice president Sales – Europe, Middle-East and Africa, Embraer Executive Jets. “Embraer Executive Jets has already received strong market acceptance in the country with more than 40 Legacy 600s and 650s owned by Russian customers now flying in the region today. We are pleased to be able to better serve our customers by offering the Lineage 1000 on the Russian register for those who wish to operate the aircraft in Russia.”

The Lineage business jet has a range (8,334 kilometers with four passengers and NBAA IFR fuel reserves) able to fly nonstop from Moscow (Russia) to New York (US), from Beijing (China) to Dubai (United Arab Emirates), from Hong Kong to Sydney (Australia) and from London (UK) to Dubai. The aircraft can carry up to 19 passengers in comfort.
