Maltese and Swiss executive jet training companies to form a partnership on Island

Maltese business aviation
services company BizAv Services and Swiss PrivatAir SA are to form a joint
venture company on Malta.

Adrian Spiteri director of
BizAv said “In our effort to continually improve and increase the services
that our firm offers to the business aviation industry we felt that our
partnership with a reputable firm such as PrivatAir will help us achieve our
goal of offering good quality, regulated aviation training services from Malta.”

Victor Grove, vice president training of PrivatAir added, “Malta’s
strategic location and its growing business aviation industry, make it an
excellent location for PrivatAir to better serve its existing clientele and to
extend its reach into potential new markets.”

The basis for the PrivatAir
and BizAv joint venture is predicated on achieving approved training organisation
(ATO) status with the Maltese Civil Aviation Directorate offering training
services such as crew resource management and initial and recurrent executive
cabin crew training. “We are sure that with the co-operation of the Maltese
authorities and that of our partners at BizAv we will achieve a Centre of
Aviation Training Excellence in Malta.” concluded Mr. Grove.
