Atlas Air Service expands Aircraft Maintenance Division

The goal of the expanded management structure is to optimise processes across all locations and consistently align them with customer needs.

Bremen, Germany-based Atlas Air Service said it has strengthened its management structure in the business jet maintenance division.

The company said it appointed Florian Kohlmann in January 2026 to the executive board as head of aircraft maintenance. Kohlmann will be responsible for the strategic development as well as marketing and sales activities of the entire Atlas Group in this segment.

At the same time, he will continue as managing director of Augsburg Air Service, ensuring close coordination between the locations in Bremen, Augsburg and Altenrhein, Switzerland.

The company also notified Dennis Klose as director of MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) at the Bremen location. In this role, he will focus on further developing operational processes and contributing to increased efficiency.

The goal of the expanded management structure is to optimise processes across all locations and consistently align them with customer needs.

Through closer collaboration between the Bremen, Augsburg, and Altenrhein locations, synergies will be leveraged strategically to further enhance the performance of the entire group.
