XOJET has announced that Bradley Stewart has been promoted to chief executive officer of the company, effective February 7. Stewart has been president of XOJET since 2010. Current CEO Blair LaCorte will remain active with the company as a member of the Board of Directors.

“We are very excited to announce Brad’s promotion. He has demonstrated the leadership, client focus and operating skill required to guide the company to its next level,” said Blair LaCorte. “Furthermore, Brad has had a passion for aviation since childhood – one of his first jobs was fueling jets on the ramp at Executive Aviation in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. And as a pilot and aviation enthusiast, he understands the priorities of safety, consistency and predictability. He has a strong sense of appreciation and respect for our pilots and operations personnel and the critical role they play in XOJET’s continued success.”

“Blair is a true friend and mentor, and someone I respect very much. He cares deeply about the XOJET family. We are fortunate that he will remain involved with the company and on its board,” said Bradley Stewart. “The entire XOJET team – along with many valued industry partners – has spent the last three years working hand in hand, refocusing and repositioning XOJET to win and thrive in a challenging and evolving industry. We will continue to work together to find innovative ways to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients, partners, and investors. I feel fortunate to have the  opportunity to lead this exceptional XOJET team and to drive our vision forward. I am very optimistic for XOJET’s future.”

“Speaking for the Board of Directors, I want to congratulate Brad and express our sincere and heartfelt appreciation for the job Blair has done as CEO during his tenure,” said Bill McGlashan, chairman of XOJET’s Board of Directors and Managing Partner at TPG. “Blair is a true leader. He came in to build a team and develop the business and has done a great job with both. Above all else I believe Blair and Brad have created a special culture at XOJET that values people and encourages them to work across functions to find solutions and deliver superior service. Blair has put XOJET on a path for continued success and we are confident that Brad is the leader to take the company forward.”
