Bombardier closed off 2014 with an order for up to nine LearJet 75s.

The undisclosed customer placed a firm order for six aircraft, with options for a further three aircraft.

Bombardier say that the firm order could be worth up to $83 million at 2014 list prices, with the value jumping to $124 million if all options are exercised.

Bombardier launched the LearJet 75 during the 2012 EBACE show in Geneva as an upgrade to the LearJet 45 and LearJet 45XR. It delivered more than 450 LearJet 45 and LearJet 45XRs.

Since the first LearJet 75 was delivered in November 2013

Bombardier has delivered 34 LearJet 75s since the first customer delivery in November 2013. Most have been delivered to customers in North America, along with others to Austria, France and Namibia.
