Total Eclipse receives Brazilian type certificate
The EA500 and Eclipse Avio intregrated flight management system is certified by the ANAC
Eclipse Aerospace has announced
at EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh
that the Brazilian type certificate validation of the Total Eclipse Twin-Engine
Jet has been granted. Over the last fifteen months Eclipse Aerospace worked in
cooperative partnership with the Brazilian Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil
(ANAC) to certify the EA500 and the Eclipse Avio Integrated Flight Management System.
“We are extremely proud
of the speed with which our Engineering Team and International Certification
Group moved through the validation process,” said Ken Ross, president,
global services.
Ross continued “We have
received tremendous interest and excitement from the Corporate and Private
aviation community and look forward to the introduction of the EA500 to
Brazil.”
