TBM 850 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed
DAHER-SOCATA is showcasing the TBM 850 turboprop at the annual festival of speed from 11 – 14 July.
This aviation show has moved this year to a more central location, next to the Moving Motor Show, with a growing number of exhibitors.
It is the second time a TBM 850 is brought to the Goodwood Flying Field – the original grass strip created by Lord March, Duke of Richmond, near Goodwood House.
During the Second World War, Spitfires were based on the airstrip amd in recent years, more aircraft have been displayed during the festival of speed.
“This is a natural setting for the TBM 850, as the Goodwood Festival of Speed is a place for speed lovers and sleek machines with high horsepower,” explained Nicolas Chabbert, senior vice president of the DAHER-SOCATA Airplane Division. “Last year we introduced Elite version of our very fast turboprop at the event, and had contact with many people interested in the TBM 850.”
