Brandon O’Reilly (pictured), CEO of TAG Farnborough Airport, has outlined the increasing importance of the Europe-Asia business aviation industry ahead of ABACE 2013.

“With Asia’s economic significance continuing to grow on the global stage, business aviation has an increasingly important role to play in providing point to point connections between business centres in Asia and Europe, particularly where commercial aviation does not provide timely and direct service,” said O’Reilly.

“In 2012, TAG Farnborough Airport handled flights between 835 different destinations worldwide; more than three times the number of destinations served by scheduled airlines from other London airports.  As a dedicated business aviation airport, we benefit from having the infrastructure and capacity already in place to facilitate connections between cities throughout Asia and one of Europe’s leading financial capitals,” O’Reilly concluded.

TAG Farnborough Airport is located 40 miles from central London and recently completed more than £100 million investment in infrastructure at the airport.

The Aviator hotel (also part of the TAG Group) located on-site as well as aircraft maintenance and servicing from TAG Farnborough Engineering.

This is the third successive year that the airport is exhibiting at ABACE.
