Saudi Private Aviation showcases its FBOs in the UK
Saudi Private Aviation (SPA) showcased its products and FBOs at the Business Airport World Expo 2013 held this week at Farnborough Airport in the UK.
The company has a fleet of Dassault Falcon 7Xs and Hawker 400XPs based in the Middle East. Saudi Private Aviation operates four Falcon 7X aircraft and is the largest operator of the type in the world. They are considering converting their fleet of Hawker 400XPs into the re-manufactured Nextant 400XT model.
SPA has seen the Falcon 7X aircraft usage climb 106 percent between 2011 and 2012. In 2012, the whole fleet operated for 1,800 hours, more than double the fleet usage in 2011 of 800 hours.
The company has around 700 clients now and expects to increase to 1,000 in the next two years. The 700 clients SPA has now, around 80 percent are Middle East based and the remainder from the rest of the world.
Saudi Private Aviation is getting ready to soft launch their new FBO in Jeddah. The new facility is expected to be opened in April 2013.
