Singapore, 20 April 2020 – Down-Route, the Expense Management and Hotel Booking Tool designed for the Business Aviation Industry, has announced the release of a major update to their Application. The web-based platform is aimed at disrupting known, long standing, and industry-wide pain points. It provides real-time data, supporting accelerated cash-flow and provides an overview of crew expenditures.

At NBAA-BACE 2019 in Las Vegas, the company introduced a WhatsApp integration that allows users to simply take a picture of a receipt and upload the details to their expense management account. This has now been further enhanced with a powerful AI feature that allows the back-office database to be updated with an unprecedented level of detail.

Down-Route Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Andy Hudson, said of the new update, “At Las Vegas we were really pleased with the interest and excitement we generated when we announced the use of WhatsApp as a quick and easy way for users to upload their expense info. Now we’re using AI to process a lot of that information and automatically update the users expense account with the minimum effort. We’ve evolved from being a great app for travelling crews to also being a significant and powerful business tool for the back office.”

As part of the update process, the company has been reaching out to selective Partners and Operators to gain industry feedback.
