Piedmont Aircraft becomes Nextant Aerospace sales agent

Nextant Aerospace named Piedmont Aircraft as its exclusive sales agent for the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic US. Piedmont will cover from South Carolina to Maine including some of the country’s largest financial, commercial and governmental centers.

Jay Heublein, Nextant’s executive vice president for global sales and marketing, says: “We are proud to welcome Tom Mekis and his team at Piedmont Aircraft as part of our global sales team. Their experience selling our predecessor products and customer relationships in the region are unsurpassed. That’s the reason that 70 per cent of their sales are repeat business.”

The Nextant 400XTi’s nearly 2,000 nm range easily connects New York to Palm Beach with six passengers, also from Aspen to New York.

The Nextant G90XT has a range of 1,240 nm at a of speed of 273 knots. From Washington, DC, the aircraft can fly non-stop to destinations including Cedar Rapids, Shreveport and Nassau with four passengers.
