Minten takes over immediately as chief executive officer of the helicopter group

Aviation Group has announced that Richard Mintern has been appointed
immediately as chief executive officer of the Bond Aviation Group

Minten
has nearly 30 years’ experience leading different functions of international
aviation businesses, most recently as Group COO of The Monarch Travel Group.
Prior to Monarch he held positions at Britannia Airways and British Aerospace.

A spokesperson for the Group said “Richard Mintern’s
operational and commercial experience in the aviation industry will play an
important part in developing our business in the UK,
Northern Europe and Australia.
Bond Aviation has a great pedigree in the provision of services in Emergency
Services and Oil and Gas markets.” The spokesperson added, “We would also like
to take this opportunity to thank Geoff Williams for his tremendous
contribution to the growth of the Bond Aviation Group and wish him a very happy
retirement.”

It was also announced that Bill Munro has decided to
step aside as managing director of Bond Offshore Helicopters.

Malcolm Paine, director of operations at the company,
will assume leadership of Bond Offshore Helicopters with immediate effect.

Richard Mintern said “My first priority will be to
work with Malcolm and our existing customers to conduct an extensive review of
Bond Offshore Helicopters’ operations and customer service, in order to ensure
that we provide the highest levels of service. I look forward to starting this
process straight away”.
