Michael Kuhn has been promoted to CEO of German business jet charter company DC Aviation. 

Michael Kuhn has been promoted to CEO of German business jet charter company DC Aviation. He was CFO and head of commercial operations.

“I am happy to entrust the leadership of the company to an experienced manager like Michael Kuhn,” said Lutz Helmig, owner of DC Aviation. “I am confident that Michael Kuhn, with his knowledge of the company and proven management experience in leadership positions, will successfully develop and lead DC Aviation.”

Steffen Fries, who was CEO for two years, has left the company. “The engagement showed by Steffen Fries allowed us to successfully steer the company through two years that were especially turbulent economically for the business aviation branch. We will continue to build on the company’s stable development,” said Helmig.
Before joining DC Aviation Kuhn worked at Goodyear corporate group and in the car industry.
DC Aviation was created in 2008 following the merger of Cirrus Aviation and DaimlerChrysler Aviation. It has a fleet of 30 aircraft including Cessna Citation XLSs, Gulfstream G450s and G550s, Bombardier Learjets, Challengers and Global Express aircraft and Airbus Corporate Jets. The average age of the fleet is three years.
