Company will display King Air 350i and C90GTx models in Zhuhai.

Hawker Beechcraft Corporation announced it will display at Airshow China, being held from 13 to 18 November in Zhuhai, China. The company will display a Beechcraft King Air 350i and King Air C90GTx.

“The strong promise of the Chinese market for business and general aviation is being realized,” said Sean McGeough, HBC president, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. “As a growing economy, the freeing up of more airspace for civilian use and a fast improving infrastructure are major factors in this. We are fortunate to have been an active part of this dynamic market for more than three decades.”

McGeough added: “We’re seeing increased sales activity for our piston and turboprop aircraft in China, so clearly it is developing an appetite for shorter range, smaller aircraft. It is no surprise that in terms of long-term growth, China represents one of the most exciting markets for us and we aim to further enhance our leadership position and expand our local presence.”

This view is supported by the fact that more than 60 percent of aviation finance experts recently interviewed by the company expect demand for business aviation finance in China to grow dramatically between now and 2017. Some 30 percent expect a slight increase and only 6 percent expect it to stay the same. Of those interviewed, none anticipate a decline in demand for business aviation in China.
