Gulfstream hits half century of deliveries for G700

The Gulfstream G700 has broken dozens of city-pair speed records.
Gulfstream has delivered its 50th G700 business aircraft to a customer.
Since entering service in April 2024, the fleet has so far accumulated more than 11,700 flight hours.
“Demand for the G700 continues to grow, and this aircraft is exceeding customer expectations with each new delivery,” said Mark Burns, president, Gulfstream.
“Reaching 50 deliveries at this stage in the program is a testament to its unparalleled maturity and the quality of our advanced manufacturing and outfitting techniques. We look forward to even more customers experiencing the dynamic performance, innovation and comfort this industry-leading aircraft provides.”
The Gulfstream G700 has more than 80 city-pair speed records. The aircraft can fly 7,750nm (14,353km) at Mach 0.85 or 6,650nm (12,316 km) at Mach 0.90, and has a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.935.
The record-breaking flights includeda mission from Savannah to Honolulu powered by a blend of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). The aircraft travelled 4,090 nautical miles/7,574 kms in eight hours and 52 minutes at an average speed of Mach 0.90. The aircraft also set a speed record travelling 6,507nm/12,051km from Los Angeles to Sydney in just 14 hours and 26 minutes.
In January, Hongkong Jet took delivery of the first Gulfstream G700 in Asia.
