FlightSafety International promotes David Davenport to vice president, centre manager

David DavenportFlightSafety
International has announced that David Davenport has been promoted to vice president,
centre manager. He will continue to serve as manager of FlightSafety’s
Gulfstream learning centre in Savannah
and as regional operations manager.

Bruce Whitman, president and chief executive officer. “Recognising teammates
for their efforts and contributions is the most enjoyable and important part of
my job. Dave has been instrumental in the development and expansion of our very
important partnership with Gulfstream. While the high quality training services
and equipment FlightSafety offers is industry leading, having the very best
people is the key to our success and future growth.”

Davenport graduated from the United
States Air Force Academy in 1982 with a degree in business management and then
served in the Air Training Command. He joined FlightSafety in 1996 and most
recently became manager of the Savannah
centre in 2006 and assumed responsibility for FlightSafety’s Gulfstream
aircraft training programmes. Davenport
was promoted to regional operations manager in 2008.
