Embraer receives first Chinese order for Phenom 300

Erdos General Aviation has become the first company in China to order an Embraer Phenom 300 executive jet.

Embraer announced that the aircraft will join the fleet of China’s Erdos General Aviation in the third quarter of 2013. The Phenom 300 was certified by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) last November.

“Having Erdos General Aviation as the launch customer of the Phenom 300 in China is an important milestone for Embraer Executive Jets,” said Guan Dongyuan, president of Embraer China.

The introduction of the Phenom 300 in China validates its place as a global leader among light business jets.”

Since the first Embraer Executive Jets aircraft was delivered to Greater China in 2004, the company has booked firm orders there for 31 executive jets.
