Company briefing at European headquarters

Legacy 650In Paris yesterday, Embraer gave their  pre-Farnborough Air Show briefing. The
company covered all aspects of their business from commercial aircraft to
defence and security.

Colin Steven, vice
president, sales and marketing for Embraer Executive Jets for Europe, Middle
East and Africa was on hand to answer
questions. Steven is based at the office at Farnborough
Airport, which is a satelite of the
European headquarters in Paris.

He said that Executive
Jets are targeting countries in Africa as
Embraer see many opportunities to sell business jets in that continent. There has always been a
good market in the South African countries for business aircraft and Embraer recognises that opportunities exist to sell executive jets to high value individuals, entrepreneurs and
companies.

Steven confirmed that
Embraer will be displaying at the Cannes AirShow, the company will display
three aircraft, the Phenom 100, Phenom 300 and Legacy 650 executive jets during
the three day show in France.
He also confirmed that Executive Jets will be at Farnborough in July with the
Legacy 650 executive jet and that the Legacy 500 mock-up will be at the Farnborough office
for viewing during the airshow.
