The company expects the new mid-size Legacy 500 business jet to enter into service in 2014. The Legacy 500 is currently in the flight test stage following the successful maiden flight of the first prototype on November 27, 2012.

“The MoU we are announcing today illustrate our commitment to our customers’ peace of mind by providing the best possible customer support infrastructure for current and future operations of Embraer Executive Jets aircraft in the country,” said André Luis Vieira de Sousa, director Customer Support and Services, Asia Pacific – Embraer Executive Jets. “By looking ahead, we will ensure the efficient operation for all our business aircraft operating in the region.”

Indamer is one of an initial 17 service centres worldwide to enter into MoUs with Embraer Executive Jets for Legacy 500 product support.

In Asia Pacific, Embraer Executive Jets has a network of 11 authorised service centres in Australia, India and Singapore to offer MRO services to its executive jet operators in the region.
