Embraer exec jet deliveries up in Q3
Good news over at Embraer. The Brazilian OEM’s executive jet deliveries are up in the third quarter (Q3) as it delivered 21 new aircraft compared with 13 in the second quarter (Q2). The increase means that, as of September’s end order backlog totaled $15.1bn, down $400m from Q2.
During Q3, Embraer Executive Jets saw its 250th business jet enter operation in Latin America with the delivery of a Phenom 100EV and a Phenom 300E to two Brazilian customers. In the same period, Embraer also delivered the first Phenom 300E with the new Bossa Nova interior.
Despite the rise in delivery numbers from earlier in the year, levels are still down on Q3 2019. Last year Embraer delivered three more executive jets in the third quarter of 2019 than in the same period in 2018, delivering 27 jets, a 12.5% increase from the 24 business aircraft it delivered in Q3 2018.
