Embraer: Delivery and revenue gains in 2021

Embraer’s executive jets division upped aircraft deliveries by 8% in 2021, aiding an overall revenue increase of 5% year-over-year.

A strong fourth quarter (Q4) 2021 saw the manufacturer deliver 39 aircraft – 26 light and 13 mid-size. The total for 2021 came in at 93 jets up from 86 the previous year. Revenues grew from $1.07bn to $1.13bn.

For Embraer as a whole, consolidated revenues of $4.2bn in 2021 was an increase of 11% year-on-year . The OEM’s total revenue finished the year within the guidance range of $4-4.5bn.

The Phenom 300E was the most delivered twinjet in 2021 and the most delivered light jet for the 10th consecutive year, according to Embraer.

The firm also made note of its $1.2bn+ deal with NetJets for up to 100 additional Phenom 300Es, with the first delivery scheduled for the second quarter of 2023.

Looking towards 2022 and beyond, Embraer predicts it will deliver around 100 business jets this year. CEO, Francisco Gomes Neto does not see any supply chain disruptions at present.
