Embraer second quarter backlog jumps 62%YoY to $7.4bn

Embraer reported a 62% year-over-year increase in executive aviation order backlog to $7.4bn at the end of second quarter of 2025 with deliveries rising by 28%YoY.
However, on a sequential basis, the Brazilian aerospace manufacturer’s backlog for the segment inched down by 2% compared to $7.6bn in the first quarter of the year.
Overall, during the first half of 2025, the company has delivered 61 executive aircraft including six Phenom 100s, 29 Phenom 300s, 11 Praetor 500s and 15 Praetor 600s.
“Consequently, in the 1H25, deliveries totaled 61 aircraft and 41% of the midpoint of the full year guidance (between 145 and 155 in 2025), 8 percentage points higher than the average 32% level for the period recorded over the past 5 years,” said the company in a statement.
Quarterly breakdown showed the deliveries in the second quarter hit 38, up 41%YoY from 27 in the same period of 2024. During the quarter, the company delivered: four Phenom 100s, 17 Phenom 300s, eight Praetor 500s and nine Praetor 600s.
Overall, the company registered a $29.7bn backlog in the second quarter of 2025 (2Q25) – the highest level for the company – with total deliveries amounting to 61 (38 in executive aviation, 19 in commercial aviation and four in defense and security).
The company will announce financial results for the second quarter in the coming weeks.
