ExecuJet Africa has opened a new FBO facility at Mohammed Murtala Airport in Lagos, Nigeria. The company now offers FBO and maintenance services from the company’s facility, which comprises a hangar capable of accommodating a Boeing Business Jet (BBJ), a concrete apron and a VIP lounge.

“We are extremely proud of the new Lagos facility and, now that the new hangar has been completed, we have turned our focus to employing only the very best people to provide the first-class service that is synonymous with the ExecuJet brand,” said Mark Abbott, ExecuJet Aviation Group FBO director.

The Lagos FBO offers authorised line maintenance support for Bombardier, Dassault Falcon and Hawker Beechcraft aircraft.

“We have sourced the best engineers from around the world, and are thus also able to communicate in various languages. We have also sent some of these engineers for additional training at the manufacturers to obtain updates on the very latest aircraft. We have also sourced local engineers and staff and are committed to the transfer of skills and the training of local aspiring engineers. The equipment and tooling is state-of the-art and we have invested heavily to ensure that international standards are adhered to,” says Ettore Poggi, ExecuJet Africa’s managing director. “Together with our local partner we have built and created a modern structure based on the same design as our Cape Town facility, and are proud to offer a truly world-class operation.”
