DragonFly looking to expand aircraft fleet

Cardiff based executive air charter company, DragonFly is looking to add aircraft to its managed fleet.

DragonFly Beech King AirDragonFly Executive Air Charter, the Cardiff based air charter company is looking to expand its fleet of aircraft, Howard Palser, chief executive said at the Business Aviation Europe show at Biggin Hill earlier this week.

The company was founded in 2004 and now has a fleet of three Beech 200 King Air turboprop aircraft, two are company-owned outright and the third is a managed aircraft, owned by a pop musician. The company-owned aircraft are fitted with the new Blackhawk engine upgrade. One of DragonFly’s King Airs was the first Blackhawk engine upgrade completed by Hawker Beechcraft at Hawarden.

DragonFly are looking to expand by either taking another managed Beech 200 King Air or moving into jet operations by taking a managed Cessna Citation XLS.
