Dassault Falcon authorises service centre in Shanghai

Dassault Falcon are to establish an authorised sevice centre in Shanghai by April 2011. The company is also looking at adding a facility in Beijing.

Dassault Falcon has signed an agreement adding Shanghai Hawker Pacific Business Aviation Service Center to the Falcon Authorized Service Center Network.

The new service center, at Hongqiao International Airport, will be fully open in six months.  A Falcon GoTeam,  is already positioned on-site and ready to provide support for Falcon operators.

The new Shanghai service center is expected to receive its Part 145 Repair Station Certification from both the US and Chinese airworthiness authorities by April 2011, and will be capable of servicing Falcon 900, 2000 and 7X aircraft. The facility will be designated a Line Service Center with line maintenance and A/A+ inspections.  The capabilities will be expanded to a Major Service Center to include C-check for these Falcon models as the fleet matures.

“Our partnership with Shanghai Hawker Pacific is part of our continual effort to increase our footprint of service in this region for Falcon operators,” said Jacques Chauvet, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Customer Service for Dassault Falcon. “The benefit will be felt by local and transient operators, alike as the use of business aviation in this dynamic region continues to grow.”
