DAHER-SOCATA has appointed Okayama Air Service as a TBM service centre for the TBM family in Japan.

DAHER-SOCATA, a manufacturer of piston and turboprop aircraft, offers a full-range of services, including charters, maintenance, hangar storage, fleet management and interior completion at Chuba, Haneda, Kohnan and Okayama airports in Japan.

“Japan’s specific general aviation environment includes very stringent operating constraints – which explains why the market has been quiet for many years.” said Nicolas Chabbert, senior vice president of DAHER-SOCATA Airplane business unit.

“As the business aviation market in Japan is showing new signs of strength, and because the TBM 700 and TBM 850 have proven they are well-suited to Japan’s specific general aviation environment, our partnership with Okayama Air Service will be instrumental in selling TBMs in Japan,” Chabbert added.
