Cleveland's Constant Aviation completes Wi-Fi STC on Hawker 800A/XP, 850XP and 900XP.

Constant
Aviation, headquartered at Cleveland
Hopkins International
Airport, announced the
completion of the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the complete Wi-Fi system along with Aircell’s
Gogo Biz in-flight internet system in the Hawker series aircraft. The
completion of this STC marks the fourth Wi-Fi STC completed in 2012.

“With close to
600 Hawker 800A/XP, 850XP and 900XP aircraft based in the US, it made
sense for us to make this STC a priority. We understand our customers’ needs
and know that in-flight internet is an upgrade that continues to be important
for corporate aviation. To provide the Hawker community a variety of options,
we decided to STC the Gogo Biz In-flight Internet system to work with both the
ATG 4000 or 5000 systems. With our in-house engineering and experience with the
STC process, Constant Aviation is able to complete any upgrade or modification
a customer needs that requires a STC. We are proud of the expansion in our
engineering department over the past few years. The investment made into our
engineering capability has allowed us to make new STC projects and
modifications a priority for our customers. We will continue to invest in
talent and equipment to make sure we are offering the state-of-the-art
solutions our customers are looking for,” said Derek Morris, avionics
modifications manager Constant Aviation.

Constant
Aviation has also completed STC for the installation of Aircell’s Gogo Biz
In-flight Internet System including Wi-Fi in the Gulfstream IV, Legacy 600,
Citation X, Phenom 300, EMB135 Shuttle and the EMB135LR. Currently the STC’s
