Company has now completed another wing modification, the fifth on a Cessna Citation X

Constant
Aviation has announced that they have completed their fifth wing modification
on the Citation X.

“We made a
commitment to make the Citation X one of our niche aircraft. The commitment
required a significant investment in talent, training, tooling, and experience
allowing Constant to become Citation X experts. Within the first seven months
of 2012, we have completed over 60 maintenance events, averaging 8 inspections
a month, specifically on the Citation X, said Stephen Maiden, president of
Constant Aviation.

Maiden continued
“These have ranged from the small to the largest inspection, a Doc 11, and have
included significant structural and composite repairs. We recognized there are
not many options for Citation X owners to maintain their aircraft outside of
the manufacturer. The expertise we have on this airframe has allowed our
customers to save an average of 30% on scheduled maintenance when compared to
the manufacturer.”

“In March of
2012, we completed the STC for the complete Wi-Fi system along with the Aircell
Gogo Biz In-flight Internet system for the Citation X. Our expansion in
capabilities over the last 18 months providing in-house composite repair and
interior refurbishment/modification services to our customers making us their
one-stop-shop maintenance provider,” concluded Maiden.
