Constant Aviation, a Directional Aviation Capital company announces they completed their 15th installation for a PA system on the Phenom 100/300.

“Our Phenom customers had expressed interest for an upgrade to give them a fully integrated PA system. While a STC is not required for this installation, we essentially went back to the drawing board and found that there was an easy upgrade path to add this capability. We found that we only needed to add a few new components and utilise a couple of existing parts to complete the system. We had a solution designed and tested on the bench within a week. Depending on the options selected the typical downtime is 5-6 days,” said Derek Morris, avionics modification manager of Constant Aviation.

“The upgrade allows the crew to communicate with the passengers through the PA system speakers, giving them real time updates without having to be distracted from their tasks, all while utilising the existing equipment in the cockpit. With the initial engineering complete for this system, it is just a matter of creating an aircraft specific data package for any Phenom 100 or 300. We are always asking our customers what it is they would like to upgrade and work from that feedback to provide viable solutions,” Morris added.
