Jay Rizzo, vice president of sales at Constant Aviation said: “The Rockwell Collins Venue cabin management system installation was part of a complete interior refurbishment, avionics upgrade and large maintenance inspection on an Embraer Legacy 600. We worked with Rockwell Collins to tailor a solution for this customer as well as future Legacy customers. Together, Constant Aviation and Rockwell Collins collaborated to design standard seating configuration software package for Constant Aviation. This provides our customers with a fixed cost and baseline, all digital system that can be expanded as desired when installed on the Legacy 600’s.”

“Since most Legacy’s have similar seating arrangements this system reduces costs, lead-times, and provides an exceptional value. The Venue system allows great flexibility with other state-of-the-art audio and video solutions. The system offering includes two new HD monitors, system galley control, touch screen controls at every seat along with a Blu-Ray player and several Auxiliary Inputs. The current entertainment systems in the Legacy 600’s are analog and increasingly difficult to expand or connect to new digital equipment. We have several other Legacy customers in line for this new system during their large maintenance events scheduled for later this year,” added Rizzo.

Rockwell Collins’ Venue system provides passengers with connectivity via personal devices including smartphones and tablets.
