IBA has announced that Robert Bryant joins the group as manager, technical projects.

Bryant’s career in aviation spans more than 45 years, most recently having held the position of vice president at SpiceJet in India. He has also held senior positions at a number of other start-up ventures including Air Astana and Al Salam Aircraft Company, as well as working with legacy carriers such as British Airways and Saudia.

“Robert’s experience is an excellent fit with the project work we carry out at IBA. He will be an asset to us and our clients” commented Phil Seymour, president and chief operating officer at the IBA Group.

“The provision by IBA of airline and MRO ratings is also increasing so it is important that we add experience to our team” Seymour said.  “This can only be performed with detailed analytical processes combined with practical and pragmatic experience.”

Bryant added: “I look forward to providing support and advice to IBA’s diverse clientele on all aircraft maintenance matters from aircraft delivery and redelivery ventures and issues, CAMO support, through to maintenance cost benchmarking.”
