Brazil issues STC for Max-Viz enhanced vision system for King Air aircraft

ANAC, the Brazilian civil aviation authority has granted a supplemantal type certificate for the Max-Viz EVS for Pro-Line 21 equiped Beechcraft King Air aircraft.

Astronics Corporation has
announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Max-Viz, received Beechcraft King
Air supplemental type certification for its model 1500 Enhanced Vision System
(EVS) from Agencia Nacional Aviação Civil, the Brazilian aviation authority.

Hawker Beechcraft Global
Customer Support is the exclusive provider for Max-Viz EVS-1500 for
installation on Pro Line 21-equipped Beechcraft King Airs, including models
200, 200GT, 200CGT, 300, 300C, C90GT and C90GTi.

“The Astronics Max-Viz-1500
Enhanced Vision System is a must have for King Airs operating in remote areas
where runways are often unsecured from people and animals,” said Max-Viz vice
president of business development Lou Churchville.  “By deploying this
life-saving safety system on King Air aircraft, Hawker Beechcraft is once again
providing owners and operators with the latest safety technology available for
turboprop aircraft.”
