Bombardier will display at AIREX 2012

Three Bombardier business aircraft will be displayed at the ninth annual International Civil Aviation and Airports Exhibition being held in Istanbul, Turkey.

Learjet 60XRBombardier Aerospace will present three of its business jets at the ninth annual International Civil Aviation and Airports Exhibition, AIREX 2012, in Istanbul, Turkey being held from 6 – 9 September.

The company will also showcase its commercial aircraft on their exhibtion stand in Hall 1 during the show.

The company will showcase the Learjet 60 XR, Challenger 605 and Global 6000 executive jets in the static display. The Global 6000 will be fitted with the latest Bombardier Vision flight deck and be on full display during the show.

“The Middle East and Turkey’s appetite for business aviation is continuing to expand as more businesses start to embrace the true value of corporate aviation,” said Khader Mattar, regional vice president, sales, Middle East, Africa and India, Bombardier Business Aircraft.

“The region is forecast to take delivery of some 1,185 business jets over the next 20 years, and we are excited to display our class-leading jets in Turkey. Bombardier Business Aircraft forecasts worldwide deliveries of 24,000 aircraft for the segments for which it competes valued at $648 billion over the 20-year period from 2012 to 2031. According to the company’s business aircraft market forecast, Turkey and the Middle East are expected to take delivery of 1,185 business jets during the forecast period. Deliveries for the ten-year period from 2012 to 2021 are expected to amount to 410 business aircraft, while the ten years stretching from 2022 to 2031 will see an additional 775 new business aircraft deliveries.
