FlightSafety International promoted Bill Nugent to vice president, government contracts and training

International has announced that Bill Nugent has been promoted to vice president,
government contracts and training.

“We
are pleased to give Bill this well-deserved promotion to vice president,
government contracts and training,” said Bruce Whitman, president and chief
executive. “He is a highly valued and effective member of our management team
and is well respected by our government and military customers. We are
fortunate that Bill has been with us for over 29 years and look forward to his
continued contributions.”

Nugent will
have overall responsibility for the training FlightSafety provides to
government and military organisations for business aircraft. The pilot and
maintenance technician training is conducted throughout our network of learning
centres in the United States.

He
joined FlightSafety in 1983 in Marketing and most recently held the position of
executive director, government contracts and training.

Prior
to working at FlightSafety Bill served in the United States Air Force where he
flew T-37, T-38 and KC-135 aircraft, and worked as a flight scheduler, resource
manager and project officer. He held the rank of Captain.

Nugent graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the Air Force Academy with the highest academic honours
and was his class valedictorian. While at FlightSafety he attended New York University and earned a Master of
Business Administration.
