AW139 simulator now at Malaysian training academy

                   
The AgustaWestland training academy has introduced an AW139 full flight simulator.

The new simulator is part of the continuing investment into it’s subsidiary AgustaWestland Malaysia.

The introduction of this advanced AW139 FFS with Level D capability, the first FFS simulator of an AgustaWestland helicopter type in Asia Pacific.

With the AW139 fleet rapidly growing across nations in this region, performing a number of roles including offshore and passenger transport, VIP/corporate transport, law enforcement, EMS/SAR, disaster relief, fire fighting, coast guard duties and electronic news gathering, it is expected that more than 4000 FFS “flying” hours will be reached annually.
