Atlas Taxi Aereo takes delivery of Mi 171 helicopter
Rusian Helicopters have delivered a Mi-171 helicopter to Brazilian operator Atlas Taxi Aereo.
The helicopter was built in the Ulan-Ude Aviation facility in Russia. The Ðœi-171Ð1 received certification from Brazil’s Aircraft Register in 2005 and Brazil took delivery of its first Mi-171 in the same year with another two examples being delivered in 2011. The helicopter is used to support the oil company Petrobras in Brazil’s rainforests.
Atlas Taxi Aereo plans to increase the number of Mi-171 helicopters in their fleet.
